Description
Wild Rose, Rosa canina also known as Dog Rose is commonly found in the hedge rows producing a delicalate white or pinky white flower from June till August. Vigourous growth well suited in Hedge plantings or for climbing up a tree. Produces an abundance of red/orange hips that are high in vitamin C but do contain irrating hairs that must removed before using. Fully Hardy and will tolerate any well drained soil.
