Apples
Apple Trees are very productive and relatively easy to grow. They can give you the most fruit for the least amount of space compared to any other fruit tree in this climate. They Key is selecting the right variety and rootstocks for your area and soil type. In areas with higher rainfall it is very important to select varieties with high resistance to bacterial canker and scab, the two most common diseases affecting apple trees in Ireland. All our varieties have some resistance both of these.
