Description

Grey willow is a small native tree that hosts a large amount of wildlife, It has a round or flattened crown, branched at the base. It grows in marshes, along streams and in boggy ground. Useful tree for rewilding projects and wetland plantings and has potential as a firewood crop. Coppices readily and keeps a nice shape if coppiced evey 4-6 years.
