Lough Key Crab Apple
A highly ornamental tree with its beautiful deep pink blossom, dark purple tinged foliage, and deep crimson crab apples. Very good for pollinating other apple. Small egg-sized fruit that crop abundantly, perfect for making colourful jams and jellies. Discovered growing in the estate of Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.
