Description
An Irish heritage variety, Suitable for Acres. This apple was discovered in Co. Cavan in the 1990s, Cavan Sugar Cane is an early to mid-season dessert apple. The fruit is large, round and uneven, with a golden-yellow skin and a red flush; the flesh is crisp, juicy with a delicious popular flavour Vigorous tree, reliable and heavy cropper. Good scab resistance. Partial tip-bearer, so not suitable for trained forms.
