Description

The Strawberry Tree is said to be Native to the west of Ireland and can be found growing wild in the Killarney National Park, Co Kerry, in Glengarrif Co Cork and parts of Sligo.

Its a small slow growing trees that keeps it leaves through the winter. It has dark green glossy leaves and flowers in Autumn, fruits come the following year. They are round and red/orange the size of a small plum but look a little like a strawberry, the fruit is edible.
Suit shelter warm spot avoid frost pockets.
